When I sat down to think about my gift guide for the year, I realized how important small businesses and indie brands are to How to be Fancy. Without so many of these makers and creators taking a chance on me – a slightly bookish girl with brightly colored hair – I wouldn’t have the ability to create some of my favorite looks or videos to share with you. They are special – not just because of the things they create or source, but because of the heart that goes into each and every aspect of their work.
